Doug helped introduce us to other ways to improve, outside of "working more and longer hours," "working on the company, not within it." At the cost of an administrative assistant, Doug guided me in making decisions and changes for the betterment of the company that no assistant would have been able to do. You have to look at it as an investment rather than another cost you could do without.
